EURES Ireland may have a solution for you! They are hosting an event “Living and Working in Ireland” on Oct 15th

COVID has brought many a challenge to our lives and for the most part we have worked our way through them. One outstanding issue that seems to be industry wide is the lack of trained expertise and the deficit of available professionals or trainees to recruit.

EURES Ireland are hosting an event that might be of interest to you!

Launched in 1994, EURES is a European cooperation network of employment services, designed to facilitate the free movement of workers. The network has always worked hard to ensure that European citizens can benefit from the same opportunities, despite language barriers, cultural differences, bureaucratic challenges, diverse employment laws and a lack of recognition of educational certificates across Europe.

EURES Spain and EURES Ireland are organising an ONLINE workshop dedicated to living and working in Ireland on Thursday, 15th October at 11.00 am (CET). This event is aimed at interested jobseekers based in Spain willing to move abroad to Ireland.

The live workshop will contain useful information for Spanish jobseekers, covering the following topics:

  • The Irish labour market
  • Looking for work in Ireland: where are the opportunities available?
  • Advice on preparing a CV for the Irish Market

Irish and Spanish EURES Advisers will be available online to conduct the workshop and chat online.

HABIC Members with vacancies may be interested in registering as an employer on EURES. Doing so will allow you search for CVs matching your requirements and view, save and organise candidates to make recruitment easier. You will also find information on recruiting in Europe.
