European Online Job Day. Irish Recruitment Day in Spain – 4th November 2021
EURES Ireland in the Department of Social Protection in cooperation with EURES Spain, is organising a European ONLINE Job Day aimed at attracting jobseekers and job changers from Spain who are interested in job opportunities in Ireland. This is a great opportunity for employers recruiting in sectors with skills shortages in Ireland or those who feel that prospective candidates may be out of their local reach.
We understand from feedback from our Members, that recruitment is proving challenging across the personal care sector. HABIC has been actively seeking solutions and have teamed up with EURES to target potential candidates for our sector.
What is happening?
The event, happening exclusively online on the 4th of November 2021, will take place on the event’s website created on the European portal: www.europeanjobdays.eu. Through the website and its interactive elements, jobseekers will be able to apply for jobs and book job interviews in advance of the event. A range of recruitment services will be available to employers, including publishing vacancies on the event’s website, automatic screening / matching / interview scheduling. On the 4th of November the event will go live with the broadcasting of information presentations and public & private chats.
The event will be promoted in Spain and in Ireland. It will also be available for all jobseekers from Europe and outside of EU/EEA who register on the European Job Days platform. We will use social media, targeted campaigns and online advertising to promote the event both in Ireland and Spain.
Is there a cost for employers to participate?
The event is funded and supported by the European Labour Authority/EURES so there is no cost to your company to participate.

What is the role of EURES Ireland? Eures is a European co-operation network of employment services, designed to facilitate the free movement of workers between the EU/EEA countries. Their primary function is to help Employers to recruit workers from Europe and assist Jobseekers to find work in Europe.
How can you get involved?
You can register for the event now and upload your jobs to ensure the maximum amount of time for advertising vacancies and for jobseekers to browse and apply for positions before the day of the event.
To use the platform for the first time, register your organisation first by clicking here. If you are already using @europeanjobdays, login here and add your participation to the event. By registering for the event you will already be able to make full use of the available services on the event’s website, including publishing your job vacancies and opening them up to direct applications.
